After finishing as runners up in division 2 last season, some might expect us to be pushing for promotion to the top flight this season. However there are alot of good teams in this division and many of our wins last year were only by the odd board. Staying in the division is top priority.
Padgate B Match Results Team Captain Joe Chambers (joe@oddy.u-net.com)
Joe's B team did brilliantly to win Division 4 last year, now they will face much stiffer tests in division three.
500 League Team Match Results Team Captain Damian McCarthy (damianmccarthy@btinternet.com)
After doing very well in the previous three seasons, Steven Jones has stepped down as the 500 League captain to take control of our cup side. Damian has taken over, and I intend to use this side in order to make sure everyone at the club plays some games. However this means that we should not expect a very high finish in this division.

We have entered the peninsular cup instead of the Kalmar Shield this season as it was felt that there would be mu8ch confusion in the shield and cup with regards to the new grade limits. the peninsular cup is a handycap competition ans as such is unaffected by these changes.
