Ok this is just an idea i've had, basically the idea is that Specialist books like chess books are outragously expensive to buy in major book stores, if you go to Waterstones you have to order it wait for it to come in and then your hard pressed to find anything for less then £17.99 you are very limited as to what you can buy instore.
In the mean time another great place from which to buy books/ Equipment is http://chessmazeinternational.com
Message from John Wordsworth on this subject:
When I am in London, I often visit the Chess and Bridge shop on Euston road - they often have books (new and second-hand) at reduced prices (I rarely come away without buying 2-3), and if people want to give me some ideas about what sort of books they are looking for I will see what I can find for them - e.g.:
openings endgames middlegames tactics problems collections of great players etc etc
(if anyone wants me to forward a message to John i will gladly do so, my e-mail is damianmccarthy@btinternet.com)
